ROAD SAFETY SENSITISATION
The Akatsi South Municipal Assembly today organised a road safety sensitisation programme for motor riders and drivers from the various transport unions in the Municipality.
The programme was part of efforts by the Assembly to promote safe road use and help reduce road accidents in the Municipality.
The participants were taken through responsible driving and riding, adherence to road traffic regulations, road discipline and other important road safety issues.
They were also encouraged to always exercise caution on the road and make the safety of themselves, passengers and other road users a priority.
The Assembly will continue to work with transport operators and other stakeholders to promote road safety within the Municipality.
